Well, the fashion world greatly affects the interior design industry. Color, pattern, and style transform from the runway into the hallways of our homes. We have already started to see a shift toward more tribal print in items such as furniture, rugs, and accessories. The new duo of Target and Marimekko will make these bold items more readily available.
Clients are branching out and trying new things and color is one of them. Not only is the pattern bold but their use of color is refined by an artist's eye. It’s as if every stroke of their fabrics, handbags, table settings, bath towels, bedding and pillows are methodically placed.
The carefully curated collection of items designed for Target are aimed to please all generations and will focus on the upcoming summer season; affectionately named “Eternal Summer.” Pieces available will range from clothing for women and children to home accessories and outdoor decor.
It’s safe to say that the monochromatic schemes of beige is out and BOLD IS IN!
